Movies that pull at your heartstrings are the best types of movies, especially when they are true stories. Some people would automatically decide they wouldn’t see this film because its a “black movie”, and I would ask those people in the nicest possible way to pull their heads out. Some of the most inspiring, truthful, and well written books & films I have ever read/seen were penned by someone with a bit more melanin than I have and I am thankful they were brave enough to write them.
